Adbhuta

Sarga 10: The story moves quickly forward to Sita’s abduction by Ravana, following Rama's exile into the dandaka forest. Upon meeting Hanuman, Rama briefly showed him his cosmic form as Vishnu, with Lakshmi and Saraswati on either side; Lakshmana revealed his form as Shesa, the cobra upon whom Vishnu rests; and in turn Hanuman revealed his true nature, though the text does not elaborate upon his true nature (atmanam darshayamasa Hanuman Ramalakshmanau).

Sarga 11: Rama reveals to Hanuman the fundamental tenets of Yoga and Samkhya philosophies, emphasizing their fundamental unity. In his discussion of Atma, which must be understood through the path of jnana as well as experienced through yoga, Rama revealed his own identity with Atma.

Sarga 12: Rama continues his philosophical discourse.

Sarga 13: Rama continues his discourse, identifying himself with that entity of which he has been speaking—that from which the entire creation emerges.

Sarga 14: Rama continues speaking to Hanuman about himself as the progenitor of creation, and all that is, was, and will be.

Sarga 15: Hanuman, meditating upon the form of Rama in his heart, expressed his devotion to Rama as atma, purusha, hiranyagarbha, the source of all creation, and then bowed to him.

"In the same Hayasirsa-pancaratra, after Nrsimhadeva wanted to give benedictions to Prahlada Maharaja, Prahlada did not accept any material benediction and simply asked the favor of the Lord to remain His eternal devotee. In this connection, Prahlada Maharaja cited the example of Hanuman, the eternal servitor of Lord Ramacandra, who also set an example by never asking any material favor from the Lord. He always remained engaged in the Lord's service. That is the ideal character of Hanuman, for which he is still worshiped by all devotees. Prahlada Maharaja also offered his respectful obeisances unto Hanuman. There is a well-known verse spoken by Hanuman in which he says, "My dear Lord, if You like You can give me salvation from this material existence, or the privilege of merging into Your existence, but I do not wish any of these things. I do not want anything which diminishes my relationship with You as servant to master, even after liberation."

Hiranya was son of Varuna. Mahasani, his son was very ambitious and he used his powers to defeat the Devas and took Indra and Indrani as captives to Patala. Varuna had to come and interfere and release Indra. This act would not go unnoticed. Ganga river had cohabitation with Vishnu and Siva and produced a son with powers of both Vishnu and Siva and that son defeated and killed Mahasani.

Bhakta

Bhagwan Ram was seated on his royal throne. DevRishi Narad, Rishi Vishwamitra, Guru Vashishta and many other sages were also present in the court four counseling him.  They were all contemplating on some religious issue. Right then DevRishi Narad said, “hey scholars, please let me know who is more powerful. “The God himself or His Name”. After a long debate the questions remained unanswered. Then DevRishi Narad himself declared that “His Name” is higher than the person name and went to the extent of proving the fact before the dispersal of the royal court. Then Narad  Ji called Shri Hanuman Ji and said, “when everyone was about to leave the court”, “You will bid greeting to every Sage but not Vishwamitra because he is a king”. Then turn to Rishi and said “He does not deserve the same respect and honor as others present here”.

Hanuman Ji agreed and obeyed Maha Rishi Narad. RajRishi Vishwamitra was very upset by seeing this rudeness of Hanuman Ji. As he was trying to compose himself DevRishi appeared before him and said, “Did you notice the arrogance of Hanuman? He know that you have done mare favor for his lord Shri Ram by giving him the knowledge. It was because of you he could marry Devi Sita, still Hanuman ignored you and paid obeisance to all other saints and sages. He has insulted you intentionally”. Provoked by DevRishi Narad, Rishi Vishwamitra became very angry. He went to King Rama and said , “your devotee Hanuman has insulted me publically, so he should get the death penalty before sunset tomorrow for his arrogance. Rishi Vishwamitra was Shri Ram’s Guru and Ram could not disobey his Guru at any cost, so he had to punish Hanuman Ji for his disrespect shown to the Guru. Shri Ram was dumb-founded for a moment because Hanuman was his most beloved devotee. The news of the death penalty of Hanuman by Shri Ram became the talk of the town and it spread like a wild fire. Hanuman Ji was very said two. He repented for his misdeed and went to DevRishi Narad and request him to protect him from Rishi Vishwamitra’s wrath and from the arrows of Shri Ram. I did that because of your suggestion. DevRishi Narad replied very calmly. “Don’t worry Hanuman”. Don’t be dismayed only do what you has been advise to do. Get up early in the morning and take a bath in the Saryu River. Then stand on the banks of the river and start chanting Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram. I will guarantee you, that nothing will happen to you. The next day Hanuman Ji did as DevRishi Narad told him. People from all over the kingdom gathered there to see the harvest test of Hanuman’s Devotion and Shri Ram’s strict values and rules (Maryada Purushottam). Then Shri Ram Ji came and stood at a distance from Hanuman’s Ji and started looking at him with kindness, but he is called Maryada Purushottam so against his will he started shooting arrows at Hanuman who was fully engrossed in chanting his name Jai Ram Shri Ram Jai Jai Ram. None of his arrows could touch Hanuman Ji. Shri Ram was exhausted but Hanuman Ji was only looking at his Lord with total surrender, love and devotion. Shri Ram used the most powerful weapons he had never used before but nothing could not harm Hanuman Ji. Then Shri Ram aimed his Brahmastra on him. Hanuman Ji kept chanting Shri Ram Mantra and did not move at all. The crowd of on-lookers was under a spell. They were calling out loudly victory to Shri Ram Bhakta Hanuman repeatedly. When DevRishi Narad notice the culminating Brahmastra he went to Rishi Vishwamitra and requested him to stop the unique battle. He said oh great sage, Hanuman Ji was very ignorant about your grace but does that make a difference in your greatness in anyway?. However this was a little drama that I directed to show the significance of “Ram Naam”. Do you agree now that Naam is more powerful than Shri Ram Himself. Vishwamitra was convinced and ordered Shri Ram to stop. Hanuman Ji came and prostrated himself on the feet of Shri Ram. He expressed his gratitude and apologized from Maharishi Vishwamitra. RajRishi not only forgave him but blessed him too, that his devotion towards Ram will be the loftiest example in time to come. “So the Greatness of Ram Naam was established”.

Nikumbha

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikumbha

Nikumbha glared at the latter as if he would burn him to ashes with his anger. He grasped with his five fingers his dazzling steel club, which was decorated with a flower garland and resembled one of the peaks of Mount Mahendra. It was plated with gold and inlaid with diamonds and coral. It was dreadful, just like Yamaraja’s rod of chastisement, and could dispelled the fear of the rakshasas. Brandishing that weapon, which was as splendorous as Lord Indra’s banner, Nikumbha opened his mouth wide and roared. With a golden necklace on his chest, golden bands on his arms, lovely earrings, flower garland and club, Nikumbha looked like a thundering cloud with lightning and a rainbow.

The conjunction of the seven winds burst when touched by the tip of Nikumbha’s club, which glowed like a smokeless fire. The vault of heaven with the city of Alaka, the superb dwellings of the Gandharvas, the hosts of stars and constellations and the planets including the moon seemed to be spinning around by the motion of Nikumbha’s club. Nikumbha was very difficult to assail because he became like the flaring conflagration at the end of the age, with his ornaments and club as flames and his wrath as fuel. Neither the monkeys nor the rakshasas were able to move due to fear. Expanding his chest, though, the mighty Hanuman stepped in front. The powerful Rakshasa, whose arms were like iron bars, crashed the club down on Hanuman’s chest. As soon as the club hit Hanuman’s chest, it forthwith shattered into hundreds of pieces, shining like hundreds of shooting stars in the sky.

Although struck by that club, Hanuman did not waver any more than does a mountain during an earthquake. When struck in that way, Hanuman clenched his fist with tremendous strength. Raising it, the spirited and spry monkey brutally slammed it into Nikumbha’s chest. Under the impact of that fist, Nikumbha’s armor burst and blood spurted out, like lightning leaping from clouds. Nikumbha thereafter staggered from the blow. But when he regained full consciousness, he grabbed hold of the mighty Hanuman. When the inhabitants of Lanka saw that Nikumbha had seized Hanuman, they roared on the battlefield.

As the Rakshasa was carrying him away, Hanuman struck him with his solid fist. Freeing himself from the Rakshasa’s grip, Hanuman jumped on the ground and quickly punched Nikumbha, knocking him down on the ground. After throwing him down, the dynamic Hanuman crushed him. Then he jumped up and fell down with full force on the Rakshasa’s chest. Grabbing his head and twisting it, he tore it off as the Rakshasa was howling frightfully. When Nikumbha’s life had expired, the monkeys shouted for joy, which echoed in all directions. The earth seemed to shake, the sky seemed to fall and the Rakshasa army became overwhelmed with fear.

Thus completes 77th Chapter of Yuddha Kanda of the glorious Ramayana of Valmiki, the work of a sage and the oldest epic.

Family

Vyasa Maharshi's father Maharshi Parasara had given the life history of Sri Hanuman in 150 volumes.
After long years of research on the 'tala patra grandhas' (palm leaf manuscripts), the scholar brought to light little known facts. "Maharshi Parasara describes Sri Hanuman in his nine avataras.

The sixth avatara is Suvarchala Anjaneya Swami. The Sun God performed the wedding of his daughter Suvarchala with Sri Hanuman on 'jyesta suddha dasami' day."

Vayusutha

Shri Radha Krishna explained that the entire Brahmanda was divided into two parts, it would not be possible that either of the parts could exist without the other, like no fruit could emerge without a flower, no flower would exist without a tree / plant and there woud have to be a seedling / seed for these,
  1. Prithvi was the foundation, Prithvi
  2. its base was Seshanaga,
  3. the latter bears the weight by Kurma,
  4. Kurmas basis was Vayu and
  5. Vahus adhara / hold was Paramatma (me that is Shri Krishna); indeed Krishnas
